Iñaki Vázquez’s participation in the “International Conference on Hate Speech and Antigypsyism in the Media,” organized by the German Presidency of the European Union in 2021, to discuss Rromani Pativ’s efforts to combat antigypsyism in the media.

2019 International Conference on Strategies Against Anti-Roma Sentiment

This international conference was a resounding success and took place as part of the “Roma Rights, Human Rights 2019” project, which was developed by the Karipen Association with the support of Fragua Projects. It featured prominent representation from national and international Romani organizations, as well as a significant number of Romani elected officials from Spain and across Europe, and left behind the “Tenerife Declaration,” which will undoubtedly serve as a foundational document for the movement against anti-Romani discrimination in Spain and Europe.
