Note to the reader: the design of this website is disruptive and anti-hierarchical
they say that aesthetics is one of the most powerful and effective ways to communicate. based on this principle, this website is written entirely in lower-case letters, breaking with established conventions, to show you that in our value system, no letters are more important or prominent than others.
lower-case letters are, in this case, a licence we have taken, intended to imbue all the content of this website with democracy, fairness and equal opportunities, challenging established hierarchies (based on gender, social class, age, sexual orientation, ethnicity or race, place of origin, migration status, or capacity for capitalist productivity, amongst many others) by a social order that, without a doubt, perpetuates injustice, discrimination, unhappiness and, ultimately, death.
we know that reading without capital letters makes the reader uncomfortable, but that sensation is deliberately sought after, as it is the reality in which the majority of people on the planet live. we welcome those who read our website and share in the constant discomfort in which we, as rroma and racialised people—the members of la fragua projects—find ourselves, living in the capitalist and neoliberal south of 21st-century Europe.
the team
at la fragua projects, we offer you a dedicated and professional team, as well as services and products for your projects. We act as facilitators and bridges; through our innovative ideas, we devote all our talent and expertise to creating networks for exchange and collaboration between professionals from different fields, particularly rroma and racialised communities, to carry out projects, events and services that tackle discrimination and promote the emancipation of the rromani people and other racialised groups, applying our three-pronged approach: anti-racist, feminist and empowerment-based.

From these forges have emerged rhythm, art, economic activity, the livelihood of many families, suffering and joy. rromani forges have been and remain a symbol of resistance, struggle and dignity. rromani forges were and are life itself. read more
